Educreations- This app allows you to create an example of the math problems we work in class. Have your student use this app as a working white board. They can create a model, record what they did and show an example of there work. This is a great app for students to show parents what we are working on in the classroom.
Motion Math- This app allows practice on fractions skills. Fractions are introduced in third grade and covered in great detail in fourth grade standards. This app allows students to equate fractions to decimals and place fraction on number lines. These two skills are required knowledge under the New Illinois Learning Standards.
Sushi Monster- Play this fast moving operations game to practice your skills without pulling out the flashcards.
Thinking Blocks- This site allows students to practice solving word problems with models and practice tools.
Number Pieces- This site allows students to practice using base ten blocks. Have students use this site to model numbers written in base ten form.
Chicken Coop Fractions- This app is a fun way to practice proper and improper fractions and there relationship to one another

iBiography- Get to know some interesting facts about important people in our world. This site gives you access to biography from Bill Gates to Abraham Lincoln.
PBS Kids- A site we all know and love play interactive games with your favorite PBS characters.
IBooks-This site lets you search a million books for your student to read using your Ipad or IPhone.
